Principal

P.J. began his executive search career in 2017 and joined Cameron Carmichael in 2020. As a Principal, he recruits C-suite and senior leaders for private equity-backed businesses, privately held companies, healthcare organizations, and nonprofits. His work spans buyouts, growth equity, and industry consolidations, as well as mission-driven and founder-led enterprises.

P.J. is active in the Charlotte community through the Rotary Club’s Leadership Impact Group, Leadership Charlotte Class 46, and the Charlotte Executive Leadership Council’s (CELC) Education Working Team, supporting partnerships with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) and local higher education institutions.

Raised in Charlotte, P.J. graduated from Charlotte Catholic High School and earned his degree from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). He and his wife, Hannah, live in Charlotte with their son, Callum. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and supporting early childhood development initiatives. He recharges through time outdoors and staying active, whether it's hunting, fishing, or a long run.
