Gary Green

Managing Director

For over 20 years, Gary has led hundreds of executive searches for private equity groups, private equity backed portfolio companies, family-owned businesses, healthcare related companies, professional services as well as Fortune 500 companies.  Prior to entering the retained search industry, Gary helped found a fast-growing start-up technology company. He also worked as a product manager for a leading manufacturing company and was an associate for Bowles Hollowell Conner, a leading Southeastern M&A firm. Gary has served on numerous non-profit boards including Hope Haven, MACS School Board and Education Foundation, Alpha Omega Foundation, and SwimMac.  He also was a member of Leadership Charlotte Class XXIV. In addition to his private sector experience, Gary served six years as a U.S. Navy Supply Officer in the Nuclear Propulsion Program.

A native of Bowie, Maryland, and one of nine children, Gary earned his B.A. in economics from Duke University and an MBA from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration. He and his wife, Donna, have four daughters, two sons-in-laws, and two grandchildren. Gary has completed several Ironman triathlons and multiple marathons, including the Boston Marathon.
